The Peruvian Army has received the A200 protected vehicles that it has acquired from the German company Aurum Security GmbH for its deployment in operations against drug trafficking and terrorism in the Valley of the Apurímac, Ene and Mantaro (Vraem) rivers.

At the handover ceremony, carried out at the facilities of the main headquarters of the II Army Division, in the district of Rímac, in the city of Lima, in the presence of the general commander of the armed institute, General Manuel Jesús Gómez de la Torre, a demonstration of the capabilities of the A200 protected vehicles was carried out last week.

The purchase-sale contract between the Peruvian Army War Material Service and Aurum Security was signed in September 2019, at an agreed cost of $ 2,190,000 for a batch of eight units. Ten finished vehicles were subsequently shown at the supplier’s facilities.
